Setting The Scene: Elms College has won five straight and six of its last seven heading into this evening. The Blazers, who are atop the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) standings at a perfect 6-0, are coming off Saturday's 7-0 conference shutout victory at Wheelock. In that game, freshman forward Jen Killion (Cambridge, MA) netted a pair of goals and the Blazers scored five times in the opening 15 minutes. Junior midfielder Vanessa Pare (Belchertown, MA) scored just 2:20 into the game to give the Blazers a quick 1-0 lead. Junior forward Serina Percoski (Westfield, MA), sophomore midfielder Alison Couture (Chicopee, MA), senior defender Alicia Bobbie (Higganum, CT) and junior forward Krystyna Gagne (Methuen, MA) all scored over the next 12:26 to give the Blazers a commanding 5-0 lead. Killion followed with her first goal of the game - fourth this season - in the 29th minute to provide the Blazers with a 6-0 lead at intermission. Killion added her fifth goal of the season in the 69th minute to conclude the scoring. Freshman goalkeeper Kelly Callahan (Monson, MA) stopped nine shots to post the shutout for Elms College, which outshot Wheelock 16-10.

Scouting The Opposition: Framingham State, a member of the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC), are coming off Saturday's 2-0 conference home loss to Salem State. Freshman forward Kerry Kiley (Mansfield, MA) has netted a team-leading three goals for the Rams, who have been outscored 22-18 this season. After tonight, Framingham State plays four of its final five games at home.

NECC Number Crunching: Through their first six conference games, the Blazers have outscored the opposition by a staggering 37-0 margin and outshot their opponents 171-43.

Nose For The Net: Gagne currently leads the Blazers with 12 goals and 26 points, while Couture, Percoski and Killion have combined for 18 goals and 41 points. Through 12 games, the Blazers have scored 40 goals - 17 more than all of last season.

Eight Is Enough: The Blazers' eight-goal output against Becker back on September 27 was the most since a 9-1 win at Thomas on October 23, 2004.
