Elms College won for the 13th time in its last 15 games to improve to 13-5 overall, 11-1 NAC. Sunday's victory also clinched the NAC regular season title for the Blazers, and with it, home field advantage throughout the upcoming conference tournament.

Castleton (9-8-2 overall, 7-4-1 NAC) fell to sixth place in the final regular season NAC standings with Sunday's loss.

The Blazers led just 1-0 at intermission when LeDoux tallied her team-leading 12th goal of the year off an assist from freshman midfielder Maggie Rivers (Dalton, MA) in the 25th minute.

Gagne then struck for her seventh and eighth goals of the year in the 70th and 75th minutes to put the game out of reach before LeDoux closed the scoring with her second goal of the game, 13th of the season, in the 90th minute.

Senior midfielder Jill Jacobs (Douglas, MA) and senior forward Chelsea Rose (Belchertown, MA) each registered an assist for the Blazers, who outshot the visiting Spartans 19-11.

Elms College sophomore goalkeeper Shannon Donnelly (Florence, MA) stopped three shots to record her second straight shutout in as many days and ninth this season.

Castleton junior goalkeeper Kim Allen (Newtown, CT) made eight saves in the loss.

The Blazers conclude regular season play when they host MCLA in a non-conference game on Wednesday, October 25. Game time is 3:00 p.m. at Leary Field.
