SUNY Cobleskill's big fourth quarter downs Elms women's basketball

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Regina LeBlanc notched a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double and Kylie Lounder added 13 points for the Elms College women's basketball team on Monday night, but the Blazers could not withstand a fourth-quarter run by SUNY Cobleskill, falling 65-53.

Elms led 50-43 early in the fourth quarter before the Fighting Tigers closed the game on a 22-3 run to pick up the victory. Elms falls to 1-8 on the season while SUNY Cobleskill improves to 7-5 with the win.

The Blazers shot 38 percent (21-of-55) from the field for the game but hit just 9-of-21 free throws. SUNY Cobleskill had a 46-39 rebounding advantage in the game and shot 36 percent (24-of-66) from the field.

Shaliyah Graham led three Fighting Tigers in double figures with 17 points and added nine rebounds. Stacey Sprague added 16 points and nine boards, and Addy Lawson finished with 15 points and nine rebounds for SUNY Cobleskill.

Elms is back at home on Thursday, Jan. 11 to face Mitchell in New England Collegiate Conference action.
