Men's Volleyball Swept At Rivier, 30-22
MEN'S VOLLEYBALL SWEPT AT NO. 14 RIVIER, 3-0
NASHUA, NH, March 12, 2007 - Elms College senior outside hitter Byron Bledsoe (Lake Forest, CA) recorded 19 kills, 11 digs and 10 assists, but Rivier College posted a 3-0 (30-22, 30-23, 30-24) win over the Blazers in Monday night's North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England Division men's volleyball match at Nashua, New Hampshire.
With the loss, Elms College fell to 9-12 overall, 4-6 NECVA New England. The Blazers also remained winless in eight all-time meetings with Rivier, currently the nation's 14th ranked team in the latest CSTV/American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Top 15 Coaches Poll.
The Blazers return to action at Emmanuel College on Thursday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m.
