CHICOPEE, MA, Jan. 24, 2009 - Norwich University senior Chris Prybella (Philadelphia, PA) set a new individual and relay pool record to highlight the Cadets victories over host Elms College (81-41) and Gordon College (100-18) in Saturday's men's swimming meet at Partyka Natatorium.

Prybella broke the pool record en route to an easy victory in the 200-meter freestyle (1:59.96) and also swam a leg of the Cadets' record-breaking, 200-meter freestyle relay (1:42.24) along with sophomore Pete Bue (Tyngsboro, MA), senior Kyle Kenia (Byram, NJ) and junior Zach Mahoney (Enfield, CT).

Freshman Zach LeBarron (Bennington, VT) posted first place finishes in both the 50-meter freestyle (26.10) and 100-meter freestyle (57.76) for Elms College, which lowered three school records on the day.

Freshman Adam Tonnesen (Norwich, CT) set a new Elms College record in the 100-meter backstroke (1:06.67), senior teammate Jason DiMauro (New Hartford, CT) broke the school-record in the 200-meter breaststroke (2:54.36).

Tonnesen and DiMauro teamed with junior Mike Starke (Chicopee, MA) and sophomore Bob Reyome (Westfield, MA) to establish a new school-record in the 200-meter freestyle relay (1:51.14).
