MEN'S BASKETBALL DOWNS CASTLETON, 96-69
CASTLETON, VT, Feb. 15, 2008 - Elms College had five
players score in double figures and the Blazers came away with a
victory over Castleton 96-69 in Friday night's North Atlantic
Conference men's basketball game in Castleton,
Vermont.
The victory moves Elms College to 16-6, 9-2. while the Spartans drop to 13-9, 6-5.
Junior guard Joe Esile (Milford, CT), sophomore guard Juan Galdon (Holyoke, MA), and junior forward Malakie Berry (Enfield, CT) all recorded 13 points for the Blazers in the win.
Senior guard Richard Reilly (Manassas, VA) poured in a game-high 18 points and senior forward Chris Young (Narragansett, RI) added 13 points and 15 rebounds in the losing effort.
Elms College returns to conference action Saturday, February 16 at Johnson State. Game time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
