CHICOPEE, MA, Jan. 13, 2007 - Elms College junior forward Renato Lindmets (Springfield, MA) registered his second double-double of the year with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and the Blazers had a total of 13 players score en route to a 78-60 win over Thomas College in Saturday afternoon's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's basketball game at the Maguire Center.

The Blazers won their fourth straight game to improve to 8-5 overall, 4-1 as it prepares for Tuesday night's non-conference game at Amherst College, currently ranked second nationally in last week's D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll.

The Terriers, meanwhile, lost for the fifth time in their last six games to fall to 3-10 overall, 1-2 NAC.

Lindmets averaged 20.3 points and 7.7 rebounds to lead the Blazers to a perfect 3-0 record this week - all conference victories.

In Saturday's win over Thomas, Lindmets was 5 of 13 from the field and added five free throws in just 25 minutes.

Sophomore Ellis Jones (Roxbury, MA) netted a collegiate career-high 11 points as the only other player to reach double figures in the victory.

Sophomore forward Malakie Berry (Enfield, CT), sophomore guard Joe Esile (Milford, CT) and senior point guard John Ancrum (Harlem, NY) all tallied eight points apiece for the Blazers, who held a 46-14 scoring advantage in the paint.

Senior guard Adam Rich (Madison, ME), freshman guard Darrell Alexander (Fairfield, TX) and sophomore forward Scott Peters (Amesbury, MA) combined to score 41 of Thomas' 60 points. Rich led all scorers with 16 points and four 3-pointers in the loss.
