Perks Named NECC Field Hockey Player of the Week

PERKS NAMED NECC FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ATTLEBORO, MA, Oct. 7, 2008 - Elms College field hockey sophomore forward Denise Perks (Blackstone, MA) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week on Tuesday, October 7.

Perks scored four goals in a pair of conference victories for the Blazers, including a hat-trick in the team's 5-0 shutout over Bay Path last Saturday.

Perks began this week as the NECC's leader in both goals (7) and points (14).
