The six-goal outburst was a season-high for the Golden Bears, who improved to 2-4 overall, 1-0 NAC. Elms College fell to 0-5 overall, 0-1 NAC.

Gildart gave the Golden Bears a quick 2-0 lead as she netted her first two goals of the season in the 3rd and 11th minutes.

Junior forward Emily Popham (Orange, MA) added her first goal of the year in the 27th minute to run WNEC's lead to 3-0.

WNEC extended its lead to 5-0 midway through the second half on junior forward Cori Eggert's (Denville, NJ) second goal of the year and senior forward Allison Jameson's (Brattleboro, VT) team-leading third goal of the season.
