Goodwin Earns Second NECC Rookie Of The Week Honor

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – Elms College freshman Sydney Goodwin earned her second consecutive New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week honor, the league announced on Monday.

Goodwin (Lawrence, Mass.) scored the game-winning goal in Elms’ 2-1 win at Western New England on Sept. 19. She finished with eight shots in two games on the week. Goodwin leads Elms with eight points on three goals and two assists this season.

Elms will visit Clark on Tuesday before returning to NECC action on Sept. 29, hosting Becker at noon on Leary Field.
