Men's Cross Country Takes Fourth at NECC Championship

WESTFIELD, Mass. - The Elms College men's cross country team finished fourth at the 2014 New England Collegiate Conference Championship, hosted at Stanley Park Saturday afternoon.

Junior Adam Kuzdzal (Chicopee, Mass.) posted the top time for the Blazers, taking 14th-place with a time of 31:01.83. Freshman Corey Tomson was right behind Kuzdzal, finishing in 15th (31:17.52). Sophomore Joshua Diaz Rolon (Chicopee, Mass.) and freshman Shinsuke Tanaka (Hasuda, Saitama) were neck-and-neck, claiming 19th and 20th on the leaderboard with a times of 31:52.46 and 31:52.76, respectively. Freshman David Antwi (Kumasi, Ghana) rounded out the Blazers runners, taking 30th with a time of 38:44.78.

Southern Vermont won the 2014 Champions with a team score of 20, followed by Lesley (55), Regis (87), Elms (96), Mitchell (112), and Wheelock (141).
