Baseball Picked Second In NECC Preseason Poll
CHICOPEE, Mass. – The Elms College baseball
team was picked second in the 2010 New England Collegiate
Conference (NECC) Preseason Poll as voted on by member head
coaches.
Elms, which finished the 2009 season with an 18-19 overall record,
received two first place votes and finished with 38 total points,
just four points shy of Becker College who was selected as the
preseason favorite, also with two first place votes.
The Blazers begin the 2010 campaign on March 6 at the Gene Cusick
Collegiate Classic in Fort Myers, Fla.
