ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College junior shortstop
Brendan Cordeiro (Berkley, Mass.) was named
Honorable Mention All-New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) in
baseball as recently announced by the league office.
Cordeiro collected a team-high 43 hits, 31 walks and a team-best 12 doubles, led the team in slugging percentage (.513), drove in 21 runs, was 6 for 9 in stolen bases and finished the 2010 campaign as the program's all-time leader in hits with 111. Cordeiro also earned an NECC Player of the Week award to help highlight the season.
