Bio

Nick Critz is in his second year as the Director of Sports Medicine & Head Athletic Trainer at Elms College, he joined the Athletic Training staff in the fall of 2022 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Critz comes to Elms from the University of Saint Joseph, Connecticut where he spent one year as an Athletic Training Intern for the 2021-2022 academic year. He worked with the Men’s Soccer, Women’s Basketball, and Softball teams. Prior to USJ, Critz graduated from Springfield College with his Bachelors in Athletic Training (2021) and is recently obtained a Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Springfield College (2025).

Critz is a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer as well as holds his Massachusetts state licensure and First Aid and CPR certification. He is also a part of the National Athletic Trainers Association and Athletic Trainers of Massachusetts. Critz is dedicated to providing his athletes with the best wholistic care of the body and mind possible.
