Dudunake Named GNAC Swimmer of the Week
BOSTON, Mass. - Elms College senior women's swimmer Tessa Dudunake (Northampton, Mass.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Swimmer of the Week as announced by the league on Monday.
Dudunake earned her first GNAC weekly accolade of the season after posting a pair of three-win performances against Bridgewater State University and Mount Saint Mary College (N.Y.). Against the Bears, Dudunake touched the wall first in the 50-yard breaststroke (34.09), the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.58) and the 100-yard IM (1:08.57) and was the anchor leg of the 200-yard medley relay, helping her squad capture first place with a time of 1:51.11. Against Mount Saint Mary, Dudunake collected three more top finishes in the 50-yard freestyle (27.07), the 100-yard freestyle (1:01.21) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:45.59).
