ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College freshman Hannah Adams (Deerfield, Mass.) was named to the All-New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Third Team, announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. Adams becomes the fourth freshman in program history to take home All-Conference honors after her rookie season, joining Stacy Croteau (2008), Ashley Fuller (2010), and Danielle Redding (2015).

In her first collegiate season, Adams totaled 181 kills, 286 digs, 39 service aces, and 13 assists. Adams ranked eighth in the NECC in digs, and tenth in kills. Adams averaged the seventh-most digs per set in the league with 3.33. A two-time NECC Rookie of the Week, Adams registered a double-double of kills and digs in six matches, including a career-high 19 kills against Eastern Nazarene (Oct. 1) and a career-high 29 digs against Southern Vermont (Sept. 17). With 286 digs on the season, Adams notched the fourth-most digs in a season in program history.

The Blazers posted a 5-20 record in 2016, including a 2-6 mark in conference play.
