Hannah Adams Earns NECC Rookie of the Week Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College freshman Hannah Adams (Deerfield, Mass.) was tabbed as the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon. This will be the third week this season that Adams has received Rookie of the Week acclaim.
Adams continued her successful freshman campaign, recording 31 kills, 51 digs and seven service aces during a pair of victories for the Blazers. In a 3-2 win over Pine Manor, Adams delivered 12 kills with a match-high 28 digs and four aces. Adams recorded a career-high 19 kills with 23 digs and three aces during a five-set battle against Eastern Nazarene. For the season, Adams ranks fifth in the NECC in digs (176), eighth in kills (106), and 11th in service aces (23).
Adams and the Blazers will be back on the court when Elms travels to Mitchell College to open their 2016 NECC schedule Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m.
