Hannah Adams Receives NECC Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College freshman Hannah Adams (Deerfield, Mass.) was selected as the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Adams amassed 33 kills, 58 digs, eight service aces, and two blocks during a four-match week for the Blazers. In a five-set battle with Southern Vermont, Adams logged a double-double with a career-high 29 digs and 16 kills, along with three aces and two blocks. Adams wrapped up the week with 10 kills and 14 digs in a four-set tilt with Utica.

For the season, Adams ranks sixth in the NECC in kills with 69, averaging 2.03 per set, seventh in service aces (15), and eighth in digs (105).

Adams and the Blazers will be back on the court with a road trip to St. Joseph (Conn.) Thursday night for a 7:00 p.m.
