A Swimmer’s Reflection on Her Four-Year Career

For the last four seasons, the Elms College women’s swim team has reached the pinnacle of success. In 2010-11 and 2011-12, the Blazers have finished second in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship. The team has set numerous school and pool records and has also qualified many swimmers for the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) Championship – a three-day event that concludes each season. The Elms College men’s and women’s swim teams had a total of five swimmers earn three first place finishes as the Blazers earned a split with Bridgewater State University during Wednesday afternoon’s swim meet that saw both teams honor the victims of the tragedy in Newtown, Conn.
