PROVIDENCE, RI - The Elms College Women's Lacrosse team traveled to Johnson & Wales University in conference action on Tuesday afternoon.

BASICS
Score: Elms College 4 | Johnson & Wales University 18
Records: Blazers 2-5, 2-3 (GNAC) | Wildcats  8-3, 6-0 (GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED

Johnson & Wales would score five straight goals to start the game, taking control early. Elms responded with a goal by junior Greta Frankwicz (Cape Elizabeth, ME) to put Elms on the board. The Blazer's success was short lived, as the Wildcats scored nine straight goals to go up 14-1 at halftime. Realizing they needed to get some goals, Elms fired a couple of shots on the Wildcats, but these attempts were saved, leaving Elms with only one lone goal. The Wildcats scored two more goals in the third period before sophomore Jackie Cronin (Smithtown, NY) gave Elms their second goal of the night to end the third quarter. Frankwicz would score again in the fourth quarter off an assist from Cronin, and Cronin would score once more herself to give all four Blazer's goals to the duo. The Wildcats scored two more goals and took the game 18-4.
