Keesee Named NECC Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College freshman Alecia Keesee (Westfield, Mass.) was selected as the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office Monday. This is the first time Keesee has received Rookie of the Week honors.

Keesee racked up nine points with eight goals and an assist as the Blazers posted a pair of victories last week. During a 14-12 win over Wentworth, Keesee recorded five points, netting four goals for the third time this season, while adding an assist. Keesee delivered another four-goal performance as Elms rallied to capture a 12-11 NECC win over Wheelock. 

Keesee and the Blazers return to action Monday afternoon in their home finale against the University of Saint Joseph (CT) at Leary Field at 4:00 p.m.
