Richard Receives NECC Accolades

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College freshman Haley Richard (Monson, Mass.) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week, and NECC Rookie of the Week, in an announcement from the league office Monday morning.

Richard helped power the Blazers offense to a 3-0 week, registering 15 points with 13 goals and two assists, while adding six draw controls and five ground balls. During a 13-3 win at Becker, Richard netted a game-high five goals on seven shots, followed by four goal and one assist performances in victories over Green Mountain (15-2) and Southern Vermont (17-7).

For the season, Richard has amassed 29 points with 24 goals and five assists. Richard ranks third in the NECC in goals and fourth in the conference in points.
