Parks Named NECC Player of the Week
NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Elms College junior forward Denisha Parks (Fall River, Mass.) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week for women's basketball as announced by the conference office on Monday.
Parks led Elms to a 1-1 week netting 30 points in a win over Daniel Webster College and 17 in a loss to Mitchell College - both were game highs and resulted in a 23.5 points per game average. In addition, the junior forward shot 50-percent from the field and averaged 8.0 rebounds during the two-game stretch. This is Parks' third NECC Player of the Week award.
