Women’s Basketball Selected Second in 2013-14 NECC Preseason Poll

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Elms College women's basketball team is slated to finish second in the 2013 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Preseason Poll as announced by the league office on Monday.

Elms received 91 total points and two first place votes and placed seven points behind Regis College which was tabbed as the conference's top finisher. The Blazers are looking to make another deep title run under 12th-year head coach Laura Habacker. Elms returns four starters including a pair of 2012-13 all-conference selections, junior forwards Denisha Parks (Fall River, Mass.) and JC Pickett (Chicopee, Mass.).
