Baseball Selected to Finish Fourth in 2014 NECC Preseason Poll

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Elms College baseball team was selected to finish fourth in the 2014 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Preseason Poll as voted upon by member coaches and released on Tuesday morning.

Under the direction of first-year head coach Scott Netkovick, Elms will look to improve upon its historic 2013 season. The Blazers received the program's first-ever bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship and set the program record for wins in a season (20). Elms returns a handful of starters including right-handed pitcher Curtis LeBeau (Auburn, Mass.) who was named Second Team All-NECC last season, and catcher Zachary Dreher (Naugatuck, Conn.) who was named Honorable Mention All-NECC a year ago.
