Women’s Lacrosse Selected Third in NECC Preseason Poll

Mansfield, MA – The Elms College Women's Lacrosse team has been picked to finish third in the New England Collegiate Conference preseason poll.

With the 2021 season being shortened due to COVID-19, the Blazers will only compete against conference opponents.

Elms College and Mitchell College each tallied four points to round out the poll.  Elms will be under the direction of head coach Quincy Wilkins, as she steps in for the Blazers. Elms will return nine starters from a season ago, including all-NECC performer Erienne Dowe (Somers, CT). Dowe produced five goals and an assist, while collecting 19 ground balls and causing 11 turnovers in 2019.

The NECC Women's Lacrosse semifinals take place on April 29, with the Championship slated for May 2.
