CHICOPEE, MA - The Women's Basketball team secured a final semester victory over the Lesley University Lynx in Picknelly Arena on Tuesday night, the final 71-54.

How it Happened
The Blazers held the lead but not by much heading into the half where the Lynx trailed only by three, 28-25. Rhamia Johnston (Trumbull, CT) added 3 foul shots in the first half going 3-4 from the line helping the Blazers go 50% (5-10) at the end of the first 20 minutes of play. Mikayler Patch (North Attleboro, MA) lead in rebounds for Elms recording 5 combined in both the first and second quarters while also adding 8 points.
The Elms Women caught a second wind in the in the third and fourth quarters going on a couple runs and building quite a genrous lead over the Lynx. The Blazers put up 23 points in the third quarter followed by another 20 in the fourth to help them secure a total of 71 points over the Lynxs' 54. Overall the Blazer recorded 58 rebounds dominating both defensive and offensive boards and add 8 team steals. The Blazers went 12-21 from the charity stripe and cashed in 5 threes in the competition.

- Kayla Jackson (Saugus, MA) went 5-6 from the foul line
- Johnston hit 2-4 from the arc
- Johnston also recorded a double double with 22 points and 10 boards. Just shy of a triple double by three assists.
