Chicopee, MA - The Elms College women's basketball team finished up their 2021 season in dominating fashion with a 70-28 win over Mount Holyoke College. The Blazers led from start to finish, and held a double digit lead throughout.
The home side got off to a great start, taking the opening quarter 21-4. The second quarter was the most competitive of the day with the Blazers taking the frame 11-8 with Elms taking a 32-12 advantage into the break.
The final two quarters saw more of the same with the Blazers controlling the action. Elms outscored the visitors 38-16 on their way to a 70-28 win.
Elms was led by Mackenzie Huria (Terryville, CT) 12 points and seniors Angelica Peguero-Flores (Springfield, MA) and Regina LeBlanc (Enfield, CT) who scored 8 points each in their final game for the Blazers.
