Liedke Records 24 Digs In Loss Against Pride
WESTON,MA - The Elms College Men's Volleyball team falls 3-0 in the Conference match up against the Regis College Pride on Tuesday night (25-20, 26-24, 25-15).

How it Happened
Seated fourth in Division III for digs per set before the Great Northeast Atheltic Conference (GNAC) match, Senior Collin Liedke (Newington, CT) finished the night with 24 digs, including 10 digs in the second set and nine digs in the the third against the Regis Pride. In Tuesday nights performance the Senior from Newington, CT recorded a season high for the defense specialist, Liedke now has a total of 555 career digs.
Moose Perry (Holyoke, MA) and Jairam Rodriguez (Cidra, PR) both handed out 8 kills apiece in the three set match against the pride.
First year Lewis Torres (Vega Baja, PR) ended the night with a 22 assists and a teamhigh kill percentage of .4.
The Blazers had a chance to take the second set, opening up with an 8-3 lead. The Pride was able to fight their way back tying up the set at 10's. The Elms Men continued with their lead even after the Pride managed to tie up the score again at 14's. Regis College tied up the second set at 20's, where they would surpass the Blazers and take the lead. Within the final set points the Blazers challeneged the pride with scores tied at 23 and 24 but were unable to collect the final two points.
The Elms College Men's Volleyball team were unable to surge passed the Regis Pride in the Conference match up on Tuesday night.
