Jeremy Torres Named to AVCA All-American Team

Lexington, KY. – Elms College junior outside hitter Jeremy Torres (Juncos, P.R.) has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American team, as announced by the organization.

Torres led the league in kills per set (4.39), kills (303), points (335.5) and points per set (4.8). He also ranked in the top-10 in hitting percentage (.238), digs (132), total blocks (30), and attacks per set (10.17), earning first-team All-Conference accolades for his performance.

Nationally, the junior outside hitter is ranked sixth in kills per set, ninth in attacks per set, and tenth in points per set.

Torres, the 2019 NECC Player of the Year, has earned All-NECC first team accolades in each of his first three seasons.

This is Torres' second-consecutive AVCA second team All-American honor.
