Blazers Lose Tough One At Becker

LEICESTER, Mass. --- The Elms College men's basketball lost 85-79 to Becker College on Wednesday evening in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action at the Leicester Gymnasium on the Becker campus in Leicester.

The game was hotly contested throughout. Down by two with 2:26 remaining, Kareem Davis drew the foul and buried two free throws to tie it up at 74-74. White then took over, making three-of-four free throws and burying a three-pointer with 1:16 to go to put Becker up by four. Still down by four with time running out, the Blazers attempted a three with six seconds left. Davis pulled down the rebound, then buried two free throws to ice it.

Freshman guard David Lopez Jr. led five Blazers in double-figures with 27 points.
Sophomore forward Nikolas Brown pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds and scored 12 points and
freshman guard Kewan Smoot finished with 12 points and eight rebounds.
Sophomore forward Andre Peguero posted another double-double with 10 points and 10 boards

Senior guard Kareem Davis led the way with 32 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals..
Junior forward Antonio White Jr. stepped up with 15 points and eight rebounds.

The Blazers have their season finale on Saturday when they travel to Eastern Nazarene with a 3pm tip off.
