Holman's Double-Double Lifts Blazers to Non-Conference Victory

MILTON, MA - The Elms College Women's Volleyball took down the Curry College Colonels by storm last night in Katz Gymnasium, Blazers win 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Their was no hesitiation in the Blazers play on Tuesday night as they took the first and second set by storm. With multiple point runs larger than four points throughout each of the sets, the Colonels had no chance of editing the script. Within the second set alone first year Samiyah Cabrera (Springfield, MA) recorded 8 out of her 10 kills. Elms took the first set, 25-14 and the second set 25-10. 

Within the third set the Colonels were determined to keep fighting against the force of the Blazers but were unsuccesfull. In the final set the Blazers continued their momentum and with no doubt they quickly closed the match. Final set score 25-17, Elms wins the match 3-0.

Samiyah Cabrera (Springfield, MA) recorded 10 kills

Jaylen Holman (Las Cruces, NM) handed out 19 assists and 13 digs

The Elms College Blazers are on the road where they will compete against the Saint Joseph's College of Maine in GNAC play on Saturday, Oct. 14th at 1PM.
