Women's Volleyball Toss Home Opener to Bison, 1-3 Final

CHICOPEE, MA - The Elms College Women's Volleyball attempted a late match comeback on Friday night against the Nichols College Bison. Securing the third set, and a holding the lead for the majority of the fourth set the Blazers were just short of sending the match into five sets. The Bison stormed to victory in the fourth set, Blazers falling 1-3 for the final.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Elms Women's Volleyball team had a slow start in their match this Friday afternoon as they competed against the Bison. Coming up short in the first two sets, the Bison lead 0-2 in the match.

It wasn't until the third set that the Blazers turned up their offensive momentum overturning the Bison 25-18. 

Keeping the match alive the Blazers went head to head with Nichols taking on point by point, racing to 25 first. With the set in the Blazers favor, leading 20-18 the fifth set was in sight. But with a late set serge the Bison were able to collect points to end the match 25-20.
