Swimming Competes Against Westfield State
WESTFIELD, MA - The Elms College Women's Swimming & Diving team traveled across the Connecticut River to compete against the Owls of Westfield State University.
BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED
Sophomore Joni McGillis (Katy, TX) finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.86), 100-yard freestyle (58.10), and 50-yard freestyle (26.85).
First-year Sasha Plotniak (South Hadley, MA) placed first in the 1,000-yard freestyle (13:10.00) and second in the 500-yard freestyle (6:15.29).
Graduate student DeAngela Fobbs (Bowie, MD) finished first in the 50-yard butterfly (28.26) and second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:30.26).
First-year Evelyn Pohlman (Northbridge, MA) would finish second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (13:32.31)
