First Meet in the Books for the 2023-24 Women's Swim Season
WEST HARTFORD, CT - The Elms College Women's Swimming took to the lanes at the Blue Jays Pentathlon on Friday October 20th. We had four athletes finish top ten in multiple events out of 70 athletes.
Blazers DeAngela Fobbs (Bowie, MD) placed first in the Women's 50 Yard Freestyle and placed second for the Women's 50 Yard Butterfly. In all the events Fobbs finished first for the Blazers, with Joni McGillis (Katy, TX) closely behind in majority of the races.
In the Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay the Blazers team of Rayne Wheeler (Big Piney, WY), Sasha Plotniak (South Hadley, MA), Fobbs, and McGillis (swimmers in order) placed sixth out of thirteen teams racing.
