Newton, MA – The Elms College women's soccer team saw their five game winning streak end on the road at Lasell University on Saturday afternoon.
THE BASICS:
SCORE: Elms 0, Lasell 5
RECORDS: Elms (7-5-1, 6-4-0 GNAC), University of Saint Joseph (7-3-0, 7-1-0 GNAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The home side got on the scoreboard in the 18th and 22nd minute, jumping out to a 2-0 lead. The Blazers had their best chance of the game in the 36th min, Kayla Pasquel (North Attleboro, MA) struck a free kick that was labeled for the back of the net, the Laser's Keeper was able to make a great save, keeping Lasell in front by 2. The Lasers would get another goal in the 40th minute and take a 3-0 advantage into the break.
Lasell added two more goals in the second frame and took the GNAC game 5-0
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
