Blazers Fall to Johnson & Wales

Chicopee, MA – The Elms College women's soccer team dropped a GNAC home match vs. visiting Johnson & Wales, 7-0 Monday evening. 

THE BASICS:

- Score: Elms 0, Johnson and Wales 7

- Records: Elms (2-4-1), Johnson and Wales (3-3-1)

- Location: Leary Field 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The visitors got an early lead on the blazers by scoring the first goal at the 10 minute mark and their second at the 24 minute mark. The Blazers goalie, Hannah DelGuidice (Oakland, ME) had a stand out period with 5 saves in the half.

The home side continued to receive pressure from the Wildcats throughout the second half. The Wildcats scored 5 goals in the second period.

 INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- Hannah DelGuidice (Oakland, ME) made seven saves.
- Kayla Pasquel and Emily Maffuccio both saw shots on goal.
