HOW IT HAPPENED
The Blazers got on the board early in the game on a tally by Elaina Villar. At the eight-minute mark, the junior sent a corner kick into the box that flew into the top-left corner of the goal. The Falcons came back with a pair of shots but were stymied on both attempts by Elms' keeper Hannah DelGuidice (Oakland, ME). The teams continued to trade blows for the remainder of the half, with neither team able to score.

The hosts found the equalizer early in the second half 1-1, making for an exciting finish to the game.

The teams traded shots for the next 11 minutes before the Blazers struck again, sneaking one past the Falcons keeper, taking a 2-1 lead. Pasquel earned an assist on the goal when she found Foucault in the box, where she turned and slotted the ball into the right side of the net. The goal proved to be enough as the Blazers back line and keeper kept the falcons off the board.
