Women’s Soccer Tabbed Eleventh in GNAC Preseason Poll

WINTHROP, MA – Following a vote amongst the league's head coaches, the Elms College women's soccer team has been selected to finish eleventh in the 2021 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Soccer Preseason Poll, as announced on Monday afternoon.

Elms is the GNAC's newest incoming full core member. When asked about competing in the GNAC head coach Sean Milbier responded: "We are beyond excited to be back on the field for the 2021 season, and equally as excited to be competing in the GNAC."

Milbier was also asked about his team's outlook for the upcoming season. "We are bringing back a very solid group of returners and adding a talented group of first years, now it's time to get to work on Leary Field," he explained.

The 2021 GNAC Tournament will get underway with quarterfinal action on Saturday, October 30, followed by the semifinals on Wednesday, November 3, and the championship on Saturday, Nov. 6.
