Regis Gets Past Women's Lacrosee

WESTON, MA - The Elms College Women's Lacrosse team traveled to Regis College in conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Score: Elms College 2 | Regis College 13
Records: Blazers 2-4, 2-3 (GNAC) | Pride 7-4, 3-3 (GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED

Regis would begin the game scoring four straight goals, but Elms would close out the first quarter with a goal by sophomore Jackie Cronin (Smithtown, NY). The Pride would score once again to start the second quarter, but junior Greta Frankwicz (Cape Elizabeth, ME) would find an open senior Elise Paier (West Springfield, MA) to score the Blazers second and final goal. Regis would then score three goals to close out the half, leading at halftime with a score of 2-8.

The Pride would score four goals in the third quarter and one in the fourth quarter, taking the game with a final score of 2-13.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • Senior Gianna Liquori (East Longmeadow, MA) would record 13 saves in the contest.

UP NEXT: The Elms College Women's Lacrosse team will travel to Johnson & Wales University on Tuesday, April 9th in a conference matchup at 4 PM.
