Lightning Strikes Down On Leary Field for Senior Day

CHICOPEE, MA- Wednesday afternoon the Women's Lacrosse team honored their three seniors before the conference game against the Regis College Pride, final score 22-11.

HOW IT HAPPENED

After their senior celebrations the Elms College Blazers took to the field lighting up the Prides net with four goals in less than 5 minutes of play, finishing the first quarter up 7-1. 

After a powerful first two quarters, the Blazers built up a tremendous 15-4 lead over the Pride.

Blazers' senior captain Anna-Elise Pikul (Belchertown, MA) ripped twine with seven goals. Jackie Cronin (Smithtown, NY) netted four goals and co-captain senior Taylor Borla also added in a hat trick.

Pikul was quick to the draw registering 16 against the Pride, with those 16 the senior recorded her 200th career draw controls.

Gianna Liquori (East Longmeadow, MA) split time in the net after 51 minutes in the crease, first year Kathrine Ingram (Chicopee, MA) finished out the final quarter. 

The Blazers win the conference matchup 22-11 for the final score.
