Paier and Cronin Score 2 Goals Apiece to Open Up the Season Against Wildcats
CHICOPEE, MA - The Elms College Women's Lacrosse team hosted the Johnson & Wales University Wildcats on Leary Field where they fell to a final score of 20-5.

How it Happened
Junior Elise Paier (West Springfield, MA) and first year Jackie Cronin (Smithtown, NY) were able to fire two shots apiece in the back of the Wildcats net during the conference match up. Paier opened up the first quarter recording both of her unassisted goals, one scored off of a free position shot.
Cronin was able to chalk up her first collegiate goals in the fourth quarter, adding two on the stat sheet.
Blazers Junior goalkeeper Gianna Liquori (East Longmeadow, MA) registered 11 saves in the net in 60 minutes of play. The Junior was faced with 31 shots on goal and went 10-11 with successful clears.
The Elms Women Lacrosse team recorded 24 groundballs with senior Anna-Elise Pikul (Belchertown, MA) snatching 5 against the Wildcats.
