Peguero-Flores Selected to GNAC All-Conference 2nd Team

Chicopee, MA – Elms College basketball standout Angelica Peguero-Flores (Springfield, MA) has been selected to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Conference 2nd Team.  The grad student had an impressive season for the Blazers, leading the team to a 14-9 overall record and a 7th in the GNAC tournament, and helped the Blazers pick up a playoff win in their inaugural season in the GNAC.

Peguero-Flores averaged an impressive 15.4 points per game, 10 rebounds per game, and added 2.6 block per game during the 2021-22 season. Peguero-Flores scored her 100th point and was NEWBA player of the week in 21-22. She is currently the programs all-time leader in overall blocked shots and blocked shots per game.

FROM THE DESK OF COACH PROULX: "Ang was a force offensively and defensively this year for us. She absolutely changes every game with her presence in the paint on both ends. Ang has been and outstanding leader for her entire time in a Blazers uniform, but this year truly took a young and inexperienced team under her wing. We are so proud of everything Ang has accomplished on the court, but more importantly the woman she has become over the last five years in our program".
