Johnston Selected GNAC Rookie of the Week
Chicopee, MA – Elms College sophomore guard Rahmia Johnston (Trumbull, CT) has been selected Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.
Johnston averaged 19.0 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting 50% (11-22 FG, 8-13 3PT, 8-9 FT) in a 2-0 week of GNAC play. She had 14 points and seven boards in a 68-58 road win over Norwich before registering a monster 24-point, 12-rebound double-double while playing all 40 minutes of a 69-67 win versus Lasell.
The Blazers are back in action on Monday 2/7 when they travel to Lasell University at 7PM.
