First-year Jill Dykema (Preston, CT) would pitch the final 2.2 innings, throwing one scoreless inning and a strikeout.

The Blazers would get back on the board after a sacrifice fly to center field by Flynn driving in junior Sarah Fortini (Florida, MA) in the top of the fifth inning. In the top of the sixth inning, Cammarata would score on a passed ball to tie the game and would be an RBI-single by senior Kelsey Bennett (Chicopee, MA) driving in Zakitis to take the lead. In the top of the seventh inning, junior Kyla Cook (Taunton, MA) doubled to left center driving in Cosmos to give Elms a 6-4 lead.
