Two Softball Players Named All-NAC

CHICOPEE, MA, May 2, 2008 - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced its 2008 Softball All-Conference teams on Friday, May 2 and Elms College had two players honored.

Senior first baseman Christina Giampetruzzi (Westfield, MA) earned Second Team All-NAC honors after she batted a team-leading .406 with one home run, eight doubles and 20 RBI in 33 starts for the Blazers.

Junior second baseman Kerrie Bowden (Chicopee, MA) was named Honorable Mention All-NAC after hitting .342 with a team-leading 12 doubles.
