Men's Volleyball Fall to Lasers
NEWTON, MA - The Men's Volleyball team falling in three hard fought sets against Lasell University on Tuesday night, the Blazers came up short with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-13.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Blazers took the lead early in the first set after tying the score at 7's due to a service error by the Lasers. Elms would then go on a 5-0 point run to build a 11-7 lead, forcing Lasell to call for a timeout. The Blazers would hold their lead until the Lasers made their comeback tying the score at 16's and 17's. The Lasers would finsih the first set after a 8-0 point run, taking the first match point.
The Lasell University Lasers would continued their success throughout the second and third set, taking the match by storm, 3-0 with set scores of 25-18 and 25-13.
Klaytin Silva (Worcestor, MA) and Moose Perry (Holyoke, MA) recorded 2 assisted blocks apiece, with silva recording the only solo block in the match against the Lasers.
Collin Liedke (Newington, CT) posted eight digs in the match against Lasell, building on his own personal season record and adding to the program seasonal record.
Jairam Rodriguez (Cidra, PR) led the team with 8 kills followed by Rafa Artero (Madrid, SP) and Perry where both recorded 5 kills apiece in the match.
