Men's Volleyball Drop Match Against Golden Flyers

CHICOPEE, MA - The Elms College Men's Volleyball team battle hard against the Nazareth Golden Flyers Saturday afternoon, falling to them in three sets (0-3).

How it Happened

The Blazer Men's Volleyball team held the lead for the majority of the first set. Nazareth managed to tie the game up on five occasions including at 7's, 9's, 12's and 13's. The final time was at 20's when the Golden Flyers took hold of the lead. The Blazers managed to keep within a point sending the set into extras. Due to a couple attack errors on the Blazers end the Golden Flyers took set 1, leading in the match 1-0.

Nazareth went on a coiuple runs to surge to 25 leaving the Blazers to trail for the second set. The Elms Men's Volleyball fell 25-13, down 2-0 in the match.

The Golden Flyers found got their mommentum and were unstopable on attack. The Blazers got a couple double point runs throughout the final set but fell to a final of 25-12.
