Bears Takedown Blazers In Three
CHICOPEE, MA- On Friday, February 3rd the Men fell to the SUNY Potsdam Bears in a non conference match up in Picknelly arena.

How it happened
The SUNY Potsdam Bears secured the first set after bilding up their points off of consecutive runs. The Blazers were able to sneak in a eight points with four them kills, two by senior Ryan Perry (Holyoke, MA). The Bears took the first set, 8-25.
The second set stayed a closer point differencial with the Blazers staying within a couple points behind the Bears. With the score 7-10 the Bears were able to go on a couple double point runs to pull away from the Blazers. The Elms Men continued to challenge the Bears and grab a couple points between serves but were unable to get to 25 before SUNY, the match now 0-2 in favor of the Bears.
In the final set the Bears were able to grow a lead of 10 (11-21) but the Blazers were able to stall them for a couple of serves as they began to find SUNY's weak spots. As the Blazers made their climb to match the Bears. with the score 14-24 Elms was able to get a final run of three points. Unable to hold the Bears from their final point the Blazers fell to a final of 17-25. The SUNY Postdam Bears secured the match in three sets.
