Martinez Earns GNAC All-Conference 2nd Team
Chicopee, MA – Elms College men's volleyball senior Luis Martinez (Bayamon, P.R.) has been selected the Great Northeast Athletic Conference 2nd Team.
The senior opposite was second in kills (218) second in assists (235), and led the Blazers in service aces (55) during the 2021-2022 season.
FROM THE DEASK OF COACH HOWDESHELL:
"Fredo has been a big component of our offense all year from starting the season in a new position as one of our main setters to finishing the season as a dominant pin. He led the conference in aces per set and almost tied the individual program record for aces in a 3 set match twice with 9 aces vs. Dean and Sage. He is one of five players in the country with a triple double and beyond the numbers, he is a fantastic role model and leader for our younger players. A fitting end to a great season and career".
